Frequently asked questions
The questions the editorial office is asked most. If yours is not here, write to the editors and it may end up on this page.
- How do I submit a paper?
- By email, as an attachment. The submission page lists exactly what to include in the message.
- When will I get an acknowledgement?
- Within 24 hours. If you have not heard by then, assume the email did not arrive and send it again.
- How long does review take?
- Review takes a minimum of 48 hours, and a decision follows in 1 to 2 days. The peer review process page describes each stage.
- What format should the paper be in?
- Any format is accepted, and .doc or .docx is what we would rather have, because minor corrections are made at our end and a PDF cannot be edited. Use the IJCRM template and download it from the author guidelines, which also cover language and structure.
- How many authors can a paper have?
- Up to 4.
- Is there a page limit?
- 11 single-column pages in the journal template, with a further 7 permitted, so 18 in total.
- When do I pay?
- After your paper is accepted, never at submission. The acceptance letter carries the account details.
- What are the publication charges?
- 2,000 INR / 45 USD, with an optional DOI for a further 500 INR / 10 USD. See publication charges for how to pay.
- How do I find my paper once it is published?
- The link is emailed to you on publication. Every issue is also listed in the archive, and an article address never changes once published.
- Do authors get a certificate?
- Yes. Every author of a published paper receives a digitally signed e-certificate at no extra cost.
- What kind of peer review does IJCRM use?
- IJCRM uses double-blind peer review: reviewers do not see author identities and authors do not see reviewer identities. The journal reports accepting 20 to 25 per cent of submissions.
- Is IJCRM an online or a print journal?
- Online only. Every article is published as a free PDF, with no print edition and no subscription.
- Will my article still be online in ten years?
- That is the intention and it is the record so far. Everything published since 2016 is still at its original address, and the 2026 rebuild of this site moved no article URLs.
- What happens if plagiarism is found after publication?
- The publication ethics and plagiarism policies set out the process, which can end in a correction or a retraction notice.
